“I have met Pamela socially.  After seeing her properties, I started to think about my own flat in Barcelona, especially thinking about Borne area.  Through her contacts, and persistent search we were able to the find the right apartment.  The lawyer and banker involved was most helpful to me, since I was used to different rules and regulations after living in many parts of the world.  They understood my expectations, and were able to make the process of obtaining the all of the paperwork and mortgage so much easier than my other friends.  The remodelling process was long and complicated, due to moving walls, and to problems with Community of Neighbours.  Everything was made much easier by Pamela’s’ tenacious help in managing the work and the problems.  Through her resourcefulness we were able to build it just the way I wanted.  Ivan and his team were great in explaining all of the difficulties and complexities of restoring an XIX century flat…

“When I met Ivan and Pamela’s team, I already had some construction experience, as I have done 2 remodelling jobs before.  Not in Spain, though….  After hearing about experiences of some of my friends redoing their flats, I was afraid.  But I think that I liked Pamela’s enthusiasm and Ivan’s seriousness.  The work started 2 weeks after the purchase, and went on for agreed time.  The only delay was in receiving the kitchen, that I ordered from the carpenter, due to change in the design. Each time the crew found a problem, they would let me know, and discuss with me the possible solutions.  I remembered hearing from Pamela that “obra is a living thing” and that “you never know what you find after you strip the flat down….” I was worried and anxious but we found the solutions to everything.  The flat was finished close to the agreed time, but the endless paperwork took a while longer! We are happy with the flat”. 

“After out retirement in UK, we started to think about moving to our beloved Barcelona for good.  To buy a beautiful little flat in the warm climate that we enjoyed so much during our vacations. I met Pamela, and was taken by her enthusiasm and knowledge of Barcelona.  Modernism is her passion, but we were looking for cosier and simpler place.  She has been helpful with lawyers and such, for which we were grateful, we could relax a bit more about our big move. The renovations were quite quick, and the lads were correct. We hit some snags here and there, but they were always on top of the problem, we knew that they will solve those problems.  We really like our new home, and we happy to write this post for Pamela and Ivan”.
